I’m Against Good

Down with “Good”.

“Good” is mediocre.

Good is at best only slightly better than bad.

Take a look at the last five documents you have produced.

Find each occurrence of the word “good”.

Think of a better word, not a synonym, but measurably better, than “good”.

  • Is this good advice? Isn’t it, rather, timely?
  • Is this good advice? Isn’t it, rather, useful?
  • Is this good advice? Isn’t it, rather, high-impact?
  • Is this good advice? Isn’t it, rather, cost-reducing?
  • Is this good advice? Isn’t it, rather, revenue-generating?

I thought so!

Good.

I’m glad you read this little article.
